I was invited to have breakfast with the family there and it was an extremely pleasant surprise. Café Monokel is hidden in a small inner courtyard in the city center and is a little pearl of Deggendorf. The interior design has a nice "Art Nuveau" touch with stylish curved lamps. The bar, however, looks modern and well-kept, the staff was friendly. There are boards everywhere with motivating slogans that make you smile. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice service! Nice ambience, especially the outside area with lots of flowers and the city wall !! Very tasty and "special" breakfast that you don't get everywhere. Breakfast can only be recommended !!!!!!!!!!

Great Cafe. The outside area is very nicely designed and you sit nice and quiet and still central. Here you finally have some peace and quiet from noisy city square cars / motorbikes. In addition, the cakes are incredibly delicious! I've been to the Monocle a lot and the conditions have always been friendly and the service good.

The most beautiful café in the city! Here you can have breakfast, drink coffee and enjoy the most delicious cakes! Everything homemade and super friendly keeper ☺️ The selection of dishes is also excellent. So if you want to drink a cappo or a latte comfortably inside or outside in Deggendorf, you've come to the right place! Price-performance ratio too: thumbs up!

Here you can have a delicious breakfast. The great service and the nice service round it all off completely. Very high quality and own manufactured products as well as juices are worth the price. Highly recommended :)

Viennese coffee house atmosphere in Deggendorf. Have been coming to this place for years. Super cakes, great service, old-school cocktails, great breakfast and the boss is always up for a joke. :-)

Delicious breakfast at fair prices. The food is of high quality and individual. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately you can not book at the weekend. You have to be there early and be lucky.
